You Have a Choice
Chances are, if you are pregnant and weren't expecting to be, you have a lot of emotions right now. You may be excited, scared, or feeling overwhelmed. Or all of those things at once. All of that is normal. What's important now is to take the time you need, and gather the information you deserve, to make a good decision. After all, this is a big one. You don't need to decide anything in a hurry, and you should consider not just your life and feelings right now, but in the future.
If you are pregnant, you have three options: parenting, adoption, and abortion. Take time to consider the pros and cons of all the options before you rush into something.

Parenting
Being a parent may seem difficult and overwhelming, even for families that plan their pregnancies. However, it is such a rewarding experience filled with many blessings. We are here to help you decide if parenting could be the right option for you, and to provide care during and after this wonderful journey. There may be a variety of reasons why you might be nervous to be a parent, but that does not mean you are not capable of being a good one. Contact us for more information on our parenting resources and plans.

Adoption
Adoption is an alternative to abortion that gives your child a chance to have a happy life with someone who is ready to love and take care of the child as their own. It may be a difficult decision, but it also may be the most loving, responsible and selfless decision for you to make. There are many different adoption plans to choose from in order to fit your specific needs. We are here to talk through all your concerns about the adoption and to help you through and after the entire process, if you choose the route of adoption. We can refer you to several adoption agencies and talk through your options. Contact us if you would like more information about the adoption process and to see if it could be the right decision for you.

Abortion
If you find yourself pregnant and you were not expecting it, you may feel scared, alone, worried, and stressed. If you are considering abortion as an option, there are many things to consider. First of all, are you really pregnant and is the pregnancy viable? We can provide a free pregnancy test and limited obstetrical ultrasound so you can have all the information you need. Since one in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, the testing and ultrasound will help you to really know if you are pregnant and how far along you are.
Having an abortion with an untreated STI/STD can put you at high risk for Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). This can cause chronic pain, infertility, and ectopic pregnancy. You’ll want to be fully informed about issues such as abortion methods and associated medical risks, possible adverse psychological effects of abortion, whether anesthesia will alleviate pain to the child during the procedure, probable gestational age of the fetus, and help available to support women.

Abortion, like any other procedure, has risks, and you can discuss these with a medical professional at your appointment.
